Using Spotify outside Europe [Invites]

Spotify is the best streaming music service at the moment. Despite record labels removing songs from the music database, there is a lot to find and more is added every day. In Europe we use Hotspot Shield for using Hulu and other US only services and now it is about time for you US folks to try out some of the goodies in Europe. Spotify can be used in the US using Hotspot Shield.

Apparently there are some issues though, when using Spotify from outside Europe (UK, Scandinavia). After some time Hotspot Shield will relocalize your IP and proxy, meaning Spotify thinks you have either moved or are on the move, and after 14 days or so, you will be locked out. What my friend Kelly did was to simply create a new account using one of the invites she got on her first account and it will work again. She admits she has to do this procedure every fortnight or so, but says it’s all worth it for such an awsome program.
