When tagging friends on Facebook goes wrong

Just a minute ago I saw a couple of contacts of mine being tagged in this photo. The square on the left hand side indicates a third man…and well, yeah…. Anyhoo, comments on the right are harsh and states that this is absolutely not fun nor cool. I assume this photo was uploaded and tagged by a teenager thinking he was funny. Turned out to be very wrong. It is somehow comforting that most teens actually know when the limit is reached. Poster of the photo apparently did not.

A creditor of Global Gaming Factory X, the potential buyer of The Pirate Bay site, has asked a court in Stockholm to declare the company bankrupt.

The bankruptcy suit for the Swedish advertising and software company has been submitted to the Stockholm District Court, according to a report in Svenska Dagbladet. Global Gaming Factory X grabbed international headlines when it announced on June 30th its intention to take over The Pirate Bay.

Global Gaming Factory X was due to pay Advatar System 1,378,525 kronor ($200,204) by July 25th this year – a debt which today remains unpaid.

Johan Sellström – a former board member of the Global Gaming Factory X and Advatar Systems’ Managing Director – is reportedly now tired of chasing the overdue debt. The suit states that “the debtor canot legally pay its debts, and such incapacity cannot be regarded as ‘temporary’.”

Global Gaming Factory X’s ambitious plans to acquire Pirate Bay now seem likely to be put on hold due to question marks over the company’s lack of capital.

LIFEmee wants to help you improve your life

Japan based startup LIFEmee.com is a life management tool that aims to improve your life. They say. A quick look at the service leaves me with nothing but confusion though. According to co-founder Kenny Lum LIFEmee is about:

This is a new proto-type life management tool. We are based in Tokyo and we want to help people set clear goals, monitor their daily lives and basically improve their lives.

Okay, so I want to set a clear goal and I want my life improved. What do I need to do? The following services will help you. I think. Or… Confusion total. Me, syntax error.

LiveForFame – like Flickr but better looking

Liveforfame.com is a photo and music sharing network in private beta. Slick looking and the community is still young and cozy. Upload your photos or music (your very own music, I presume) and share it to the rest of the L4F:ers who can comment and "star it". Easy, peaceful and interesting. Just like Flickr but with all the clutter gone. Could be the Posterous in a Posterous vs WordPress fight. Nowadays we want it light, minimalistic and simple. Liveforfame is at this point this. I hope it stays that way.
